SWHS students tour colleges in Tuscaloosa

The seniors and select juniors of Sweet Water High School toured colleges in Tuscaloosa on May 6. Their first visit was at the University of Alabama. The tour guides were Heather Hannah and Emily Sharp-Kener. During the tour, many historical facts were given along with educational opportunity available in the different schools. They also learned about the different male and female sports, fraternities and sororities, intramural sports and many other organizations on campus.
The students also toured Stillman College and Shelton State.
Students who went on the college tour were: Elizabeth Clayton, Cordaryl Curtis, Hazel Ford, Jasmine Gamble, Charlie Glover, Quinton Jones, Michella Lockett, Tyree Lockett, Tra McIntosh, Cassie Sager, Kristina Waters, Damaraquis Williams, Devin Wolf, Jonathan Barnhill, Larry Bolden, Courtney Boykins, Rachel Davis, Nakia Dennis, Shenita Evans, Sherita Evans, Waynedreka Fluker, Mary Ann Gates, Abby Grochowski, Heath Hill, Victoria Jones, Dontrice Kilpatrick, Anthony Landrum, Drew Luker, Deonte Malone, Kendrick Malone, Scottie Nelson, Jessie Norris, Star Patterson, Dillon Ray, Kierra Riley, David Morgan, Mercadez Whitted and Jonathan Thompson.
