New head at IP announced

Last week, International Paper announced leadership changes within its Containerboard business, which will effect the Pine Hill Containerboard Mill located on Highway 10 West.
Janet Neighbors has been named mill manager of the Pine Hill Mill, effective Oct. 1. In her new role, Neighbors will have overall leadership responsibility for mill operations, employee engagement and financial success. She will report to Mike Exner, Vice President, Manufacturing, of IP's Containerboard business.
Neighbors brings 33 years of manufacturing leadership experience to her role. She began her career in 1975 as chief analyst at the Prattville, Ala., Mill where she has spent the majority of her career in roles of increasing responsibility in the pulp, power, maintenance and production areas. In 2007, Janet was named mill manager of the Pineville, La., Mill.
"Janet will be a great fit with the Pine Hill Mill," Exner said. "She has vast mill experience in the containerboard manufacturing system, and her outstanding leadership at Pineville has taken that team to even better results."
