Alzheimer's support group
Alzheimer's Support / Caregivers Support Group meeting, sponsored by Southern Oaks, will be held at 1 p.m., Jan. 6, in the conference room at Grove Hill Memorial Hospital, 295 South Jackson Street in Grove Hill. Flu shot clinic
The Clarke County Health Department, 22600 Highway 84 in Grove Hill, will hold a flu shot clinic for ages 18 and older from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Jan. 16 for a fee of $15. Medicare and Medicaid will be billed for eligible patients. Patients must bring their cards for proper billing. No one will be denied a flu shot for inability to pay. No appointment is necessary. Story hour
The Thomasville Public Library has openings for story hour. Come by the library to register your child or call 334- 636-5343. Story hour for threeyear olds (Reading Bees) is every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.; four-year olds (Froggy Fours) - Thursday, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.; and k-fourth grade students (Dragonflies) meet from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesdays.
Homeownership training meeting
