Couple sets July 25 date

Christie Cherie Browder and Blake Patrick Godwin Mr. and Mrs. Tom Browder of Foley announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Christie Cherie Browder to Blake Patrick Godwin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Godwin and the late Martha Ann Tate Godwin of Daphne.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Annyce Lewis Browder and the late Charles Thomas Browder Sr. of Thomasville and James Grady Arrighi and the late Janet Bigger Arrighi of Montgomery. Cherie is a 2003 graduate of Thomasville High School. She attended the University of Alabama and is now pursuing a degree in physical therapy.

The prospective groom is a 1997 graduate of Baldwin County High School. After graduating he served in Iraq with the 1165th Military Police Company of Fairhope. Since returning from Iraq he has been employed with Everwood Treatment Company in Spanish Fort.

The wedding will take place at 4:30 in the afternoon on July 25 at White House Fork P.H. Church in White House Fork.
