Auxiliary scholarships awarded

Southwest Alabama Hospital Auxiliary members Shirley Crowe, Elinor Ott and Bobbie Overstreet present scholarships to Amy Cannon, University of South Alabama School of Occupational Therapy, Christian Bishop, Tennessee University School of Physical Therapy and (not shown) Anthony Lynn, Alabama Southern School of Nursing. Scholarships are presented to selected, qualified medical students each year with funds coming from the jewelry sales and Christmas tree light sales. The SWAHA said the generosity of the community and surrounding areas supporting these fund-raisers is very much appreciated. All profits go back to serve the community, so look for the upcoming sales to do some Christmas shopping.
