      Independent Baptist Church in Sweet Water held a day of prayer on Wednesday, Nov. 4. This event is held each hear on or near the first Monday in November. The 2009 program was sponsored by the North American Baptist Women's Union.

      We are approaching the end of the rainy season in Tamale, and it has been unusually wet. We have had measurable rain practically every day for several weeks, which is good because when it stops there will be no rain for about 5 months, and very little for several months after that.
