The Thomasville City Council approved a bid of $496,000 Monday night for sewer improvement work to be done in the Choctaw Corner area of Thomasville. The work will be primarily funded by a grant the city has received. The city's water board will be responsible for provided matching funds of up to 20 percent of the project's cost, or about $100,000. More...

Iam writing this at the home of Huel and Pam Moseley my sister and brother-in-love in Evans, Ga. We are here to help look after our mother who has Alzheimer's. Thursday our mother is scheduled to have surgery on a bad sore on the lower part of her back. This sore developed, we think, as a result of a fall she had and it has refused to heal with normal care.
