Glory Road quartet
County Line Baptist Church in Arlington will host a singing featuring songs of praise by Glory Road Quartet at 6 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 28. The community is invited to come enjoy the singing and refreshments.
Begin the Christmas season
Bashi United Methodist Church, 8827 Bashi Road, will begin the Christmas season at 6 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 29. The entire community is invited to this special service that will feature special music and Good News of great joy that will be for all people. Everyone is invited to enjoy this special service regardless of church affiliation. Begin the Christmas season by working together as a community.
Choir day
Williams Temple CME Church, 206 Davis Avenue in Thomasville will hold choir day at 2:30 p.m., Nov. 29. All groups, choirs and soloists are invited. Registration is $20. Rev. Hazel Kirksey, choir president Lora Carson and musician Marvin McConnell invite all to come out and help sing praises to the Lord.
Fifth Sunday
Miles Chapel C.M.E. Church of Thomasville will host a play, presented First Missionary Baptist Church of Farmerville, at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 29. Join in the spiritual joy and laughter. Rev. Bonnie Bryant is pastor.
Revival
Thomasville Church of God, 708 Brown Street in Thomasville, will be in revival Nov. 29 - Dec. 2. Sunday services will be at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., and weeknights at 7 p.m. Guest speakers will be Jimmy and Debbie Roberts, a husbandwife team who love the Lord with all their hearts. Revival
South Marengo Shepherd and Ministerial Alliance will host an after Thanksgiving, before Christmas revival crusade at 7 p.m., Dec. 1-3 at the following churches:

Anniversary
St. Paul M.B. Church in Sweet Water will hold a second year anniversary celebration honoring Rev. and Sis. Curry Robinson at 2 p.m., Dec. 6. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Bobby Johnson of Good Hill M.B. Church in Putnam. Guest choir will be the Good Hill choir.
Angel Food orders
Pine Hill United Methodist Church is now the local site to order and pick up the Angel Food boxes. In the Thomasville area the menus are available at all three offices of United Security Banks. Orders can be placed any time at the Bank of Pine Hill and can be placed in the bank's night depository. December orders will be taken through Dec. 8, with delivery on Dec. 19. Preaching series
The Cornerstone Baptist Church, 160 North Jackson Street in Grove Hill, will hold a special preaching series at 6:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Dec. 11 and 12 and at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 13. Three different messages on the Incarnation will be preached by Scott Slayton, formerly of Grove Hill and now pastor of Chelsea Village Baptist Church in Chelsea.
Cookbooks
