The team, comprised of students from grades six through 12, was responsible, not only for building a robot, but also for marketing, competing against other robots, designing a team T-shirt and presentation materials. These students met several days after school to accomplish their goals. Because of their effort, the team won "Rookie of the Year" and placed seventh overall.
