Church anniversary

 

HIS Vineyard Church will celebrate its three-year anniversary on Feb. 6 and 7. Guest speaker will be Pastor Michael Hatch from Ripley, Miss., who is a dynamic minister of the word. He will be speaking at 7 p.m., Saturday and at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday. Everyone is welcomed to join in for these two amazing services.

Black history program

Shady Union Missionary Baptist Church will host a Black History program at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 7. Guest speaker for the program will be Rev. Honoree Lockett Jr., pastor of Greater New Hope Baptist Church in Demopolis. Church pastor, Rev. A.V. Pritchett, invites everyone.

Male Monday Club

The First Male Monday Club will hold an organizational meeting at 7 p.m., Monday, Feb. 8, at the New St. Matthew Baptist Church, Lily Valley community of Jackson. All men in the surrounding area are asked to attend this meeting of brotherhood and fellowship. Rev. Tyrone Pague is pastor.

Valentine program

Gooden Hill Baptist Church will host a Valentine program at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 13. A & B selection will be presented by the Bobby Johnson Ensemble with guest speaker Sis. Ganae Dixon.

Stewardship day

Williams Temple CME Church, 206 Davis Avenue in Thomasville, will hold Steward, Stewardess and Trustee Day at 2:30 p.m., Feb. 14. Special guests Elder Jimmie Kidd and church family of the All Saints Holiness Church in Lower Peach Tree.

Touching Lives

Angels Touching Children’s Lives (ATCL), a Christian organization, has been established to brighten and enhance the lives of children with special needs. Sweating in the Spirit

Ladies and gentleman, let’s get busy Thomasville, exercise for your health. Three days a week will lower your blood pressure, help you sleep, and most of all help you feel good about yourself; Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights from 6 p.m. to 6:56 p.m. at Thomasville Church of God in Christ. Everyone is invited to Sweating in the Spirit.
