Paul Sterling DeRouen, Jr., 65, of Franklin, died Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at Mobile Infirmary.
Mr. DeRouen was a native of Selma and was a resident of Franklin, Alabama. He worked as a diesel mechanic and was in the National Guard.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 2, at Monroe Chapel Funeral Home in Frisco City with the Rev. Johnny Stabler and Rev. W. C. Stabler officiating. Burial was in Springhill Baptist Cemetery in Franklin.
Mr. DeRouen is survived by his wife, Ann DeRouen of Franklin; son, Paul Anthony (Carey) DeRouen of Thomasville; daughter, Paula (Mike) Cabaniss of Grove Hill; father, Rev. W. C. Stabler of Franklin; brothers, W. C. (Velma) Stabler of Saraland, James (Darlene) Stabler of Frisco City, Johnny (Linda) Stabler of Pine Hill; sisters, Carol (David) Cole of Excel, Sarah Stacey of Monroeville, Blanche (Fred) Thompson of Sulligent, Rosemary (Sam) Fish of Demopolis; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
