Mrs. Ethel Goldman Everette, 91, of Leroy, died April 17, 2010.
Mrs. Everette, was a native of Bigbee. She was a faithful member at FBC, Leroy, and the Friendship Sunday Scholl Class.
Mrs. Everette worked at Clarke Mills in Jackson. She was an avid gardener and along with her husband, Worthy Everette, established Everette’s Nursery in Leroy.
The funeral was held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at FBC Leroy with Rev. James Watkins officiating. Interment was in the FBC Leroy Cemetery.
Mrs. Everette was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Worthy F. Everette; parents Jube and Leona Goldman; three brothers, Leroy, J.D. and Henry Lee Goldman; three sisters, Fannie Mae Singleton, Dollie Sullivan and Louise Rice; three infant siblings and a great grandson, Brent Sims.
She is survived by two daughters, Margaret (Eddie) Williams of Leroy and Helen (Donald) Drinkard of Thomasville; two brothers, Willie Goldman and John (Janice) Goldman; three grandchildren, Tracey (Paul) Sims of Pine Hill, Clint (Lori) Bagley of Thomasville and Joseph (Kerri) Williams of St. Stephens; Six great grandchildren, Adam Sims, John Sims, Will Bagley, Leah Bagley, Mackenzie Coulter and Maddie Williams.
Pallbearers include her grandsons, Clint Bagley and Joseph Williams; Nephews, Clyde Singleton, Dewayne Goldman, Kelly Sullivan and Mike Goldman. Honorary pallbearers were members of her Sunday School Class.
