Alvin Lawrence Stone Sr., 64, of Demopolis died Saturday, May 15, 2010 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
He was born May 27, 1945 in Suttle. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.
Graveside funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Thomaston Cemetery with Rev. Dan Baughman officiating.
He is survived by two sons, Lonnie (Elizabeth) Stone and Jesse (Shelly) Stone both of Livingston; daughter, Penny Hamilton of Demopolis; brother, John (Faye) Stone of Linden; sister, Annette Ackers of Dothan; grandson, Ethan Hamilton of Sweet Water and his children’s mother, Nancy W. Kearley of Livingston.
Honorary pallbearers were Moses Wilkinson, Ben Wilkinson, Clayton Egbert, Drew Evans, Clay Elliott, James Elliott, Tony Stone, Mark Thrash, Brad Hamilton, Ethan Hamilton, Bill Ingram and all of his nieces and nephews.
