Jean Claire Jordan Mott, 83, of Thomasville died Saturday, August 7, 2010 at her home.
She was born January 21, 1927 in Jackson. She was a retired bank teller and a member of Thomasville Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 9, 2010 at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Ty Parten and Dr. James Best officiating. Interment was at Choctaw Corner Cemetery in Thomasville.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Mack Charles Mott.
She is survived by her sister in-law, Maris Dauphin; three brother-in-laws, Roger Mott, Laverne Mott and Steve Gilman and two cousins, Bill Reid and Hal Newman.
Pallbearers were Jim Bonner, Jimmy Bonner, Ray Dauphin, Crum Cook, Braxton Cook and Bill Reid.
Honorary pallbearers were her cousins and the TEL/Elect Ladies Sunday School Class at Thomasville Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Thomasville Baptist Church, University of Montevallo or The Gideons International.
