Willie Brunell Presnall, 75, of Whatley died Thursday, August 5, 2010 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. He was born September 10, 1934.

He was a retired selfemployed well driller. He served in the United States Coast Guard during the Korean Conflict and he was a member of McCann’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Jackson.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 8, 2010 at Lathan Funeral Home in Grove Hill with Rev. Dave Rhodes and Rev. Percy Clarke officiating. Interment was in Amity Baptist Church Cemetery in Whatley. An online guestbook may be signed at www.lathanfuneralhomes.c om.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hannis Arnold and Lula Gertrude Presnall; brother, John Addison Presnall and sister, Dorothy Luverne Muscat.

He is survived by his wife, Becky Presnall of Whatley; two sons, David Lee Presnall of Foster, Va. and Stephen Morris Presnall of Meridian, Miss.; daughter, Sandra Marie Durham of Columbia, S. C.; sister, Betty Jean Roberts of Grove Hill and fifteen grandchildren.

Pallbearers were James Moore, Donald Joe James, Don Anderson, Charles Hicks, David Presnall, Jr. and David Muscat.

Lathan Funeral Home in Grove Hill directed.
