Billy Jack McClinton, 78, a retired millwright of Linden died Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital in Demopolis. He was born July 18, 1932 in Leroy. He was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church and the Demopolis American Legion.
Graveside funeral services with military honors were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Linden Memorial Park with Rev. Tony Earl Cannon officiating.
His is survived by his wife, Mary Louise McClinton of Linden; three daughters, Deborah Bonner of Tuscaloosa, Teresa Smith and Paula Fultz both of Linden; son, Billy Jack McClinton, Jr. of St. Petersburg, Fla.; twelve grandchildren, Bethany Compton, Seth Bonner, Anna Kathryn Bonner, Phillip Mark Smith, Jr., Christopher Smith, Ashley Smith, Billy Jack McClinton, III, Brandon McClinton, Thomas Fultz, M. Weldon Fultz, Colston Fultz and Leighton Fultz; two great grandchildren, Phillip Nathan Smith and Isabella Fultz; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers were his grandsons.
