Clyce Kilby Drinkard, 88, of Thomasville died Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Mobile Infirmary. He was born November 2, 1922 in Clarke County. Mr. Drinkard was a retired road superintendent with Scotch Lumber Company. He was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church and a World War II, U.S. Army veteran.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Faircloth and Rev. Ty Parten officiating. Interment was at Liberty Baptist Cemetery in Thomasville.

He is survived by two sons, Daryl C. (Susan) Drinkard and Dennis (Wanda) Drinkard both of Thomasville; two daughters, Adrian Drinkard and Lisa (Mike) Williams both of Thomasville; ten grandchildren, Shane Thibodeaux, Sean Thibodeaux, LaShaye Thibodeaux, Matt Drinkard, Cody Drinkard, Hali Givens, Taylor Williams, Tanner Williams, Whitney Drinkard and Chloe Drinkard; eight great grandchildren, Easton Thibodeaux, Crimson Thibodeaux, Kaitlyn Thibodeaux, Corrigan Thibodeaux, Cody Shoemaker, Brayden Williams, Mary Kendyl Williams and Annalee Givens.

Pallbearers were Shane Thibodeaux, Sean Thibodeaux, Matt Drinkard, Cody Drinkard, Taylor Williams, Tanner Williams and Daniel Givens.

Honorary pallbearers were Dr. R. D. Neal, James Haskew, Jack McHaney, Julius Johnson, Tiny Drinkard, Don Jordan, Jim Criswell, Dennis Dixon, Bobby Anderson, Willard Gates, Ernest Slade, Gerald Gregory, Jack Bishop, Lloyd Gilchrist, Lawrence “Tater Bug” Champion, Doug Drinkard and Ranjeed Acharya.

O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville directed.
