Brother Clarence Stallworth, 81, of Thomasville died Friday, November 19, 2010 at Southwest Alabama Medical Center. He was born January 12, 1929. He was a retiree of Scotch Lumber Company serving as a security guard.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 2010 at New Hope No. 1 Baptist Church in Thomasville with Rev. Thomas E. Jackson officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his daughter, Belinda (Archie) Pruitt of Thomasville; four sons, Jerry (Rutha) Stallworth of Louisville, Ky., James Stallworth, Arron (Ethel) Stallworth and Larry (Sandra) Stallworth all of Thomasville; brother, Alonzo (Ellen) Stallworth of Thomasville; three sisters, Gloria Langley of Jamaica, N.Y., Delsie Rump and Vera Kelly both of Queens, N.Y.; 17 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

Thomasville Memorial Funeral Home directed.
