Annie Etheridge Hill, 95, of Dixons Mills died Thursday, March 3, 2011 at her home. She was born August 23, 1915 in Sweet Water. Mrs. Hill was a former seamstress with Vanity Fair. She was a member of the Dixons Mills Baptist Church where she was a longtime Sunday School teacher.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Dixons Mills Baptist Church with Rev. Leon Harrison and Rev. Richard Martindale officiating. Interment was at Dunning Cemetery in Dixons Mills.
She is survived by two sons, Cecil (Carol) Hill and Randall (Janet) Hill, both of Thomasville; three daughters, Jo Deloach of Dadeville, Marilyn Costas of Atlanta, Ga. and Sandra Jirkal of Dixons Mills; nine grandchildren, Randy Hill, Tammy Hill, Windy Hill, Kim Deloach Rau, Suzanne Costas, Keri Hill Davis, Jennifer Hill Casey, Jennifer Robertson and Dwight Nelson; five greatgrandchildren.
Pallbearers were Mike Jackson, Michael Agee, Peter Frank McGilberry, Mac McGilberry, Frank McGilberry and Vic Dungan.
