Flowers

Horace Ray “Buddy” Flowers, Sr., 69, of Greenville died on Friday, April 8, 2011.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Herbert Brown officiating. Interment followed at Shackleville Cemetery.

Mr. Flowers was preceded in death by his parents, Pete & Myrtle Lee Flowers of Lamison.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Butler Flowers; daughter, Mary Ellen (Marty) Whigham of Greenville; son, Horace Ray (Regina) Flowers, Jr. of Grand Bay; eight grandchildren, Amber (Jared) Lewis and Jessica Whigham both of Mobile, Paul M. Whigham, Jr., LeeAnne Whigham, Caleb Whigham all of Greenville and Jennifer Flowers (Jason) Neese of Helena, Miss., Joshua Ray Flowers and Jalyn Flowers both of Grand Bay; great-grandchildren, Macy Lewis, Jared Lewis and Kiersten Inman all of Mobile and Camden Laron Neese of Helena, Miss.; sister, Emmie Anderson of Birmingham; brother, Pete (Frances) Flowers, Jr. of Pleasant Grove; mother-in-law, Bessie Raye Butler of Greenville and many nieces and nephews.
