Glover James Morgan, 91, of Coffeeville died Friday, May 13, 2011 in a Mobile hospital. He was born September 28, 1919.
He was a retired truck driver for the Clarke County Commission. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church north of Coffeeville and a member of the Coffeeville Masonic Lodge. He served honorably in WWII as a Seaman 1st Class in the U.S. Navy.
Funeral services were Monday, May 16, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Center Point Baptist Church in Coffeeville with Revs. Leland James and Warren Shewmake officiating. Interment was at Center Point Cemetery in Coffeeville.
He is survived by his son, James Morgan of Jackson; daughter, Yvonne M. Dunagan Mathers of Coffeeville; ten grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-greatgrandchild.
Pallbearers were J. R. Morgan, Richard Shaugar, Chipper Tucker, Victor Tipper, Kyle Dunagan and Paul Dunagan.
Honorary pallbearers were Masons and members of Coffeeville Masonic Lodge.
