Eric Paul Knight, 33, of Castle Rock, Colo. formerly of N. Richland Hills, Texas and Birmingham passed away Thursday, June 30, 2011 at his residence.
He was born to R. Paul and Teri Knight on June 13, 1978 in Birmingham. Eric graduated from James Madison High School in San Antonio, Texas and attended college at Tarrant County College in N. Richland Hills, Texas.
Mr. Knight was a jackof all trades, but spent the majority of his career as an automotive technician. He had the kindest smile and warmest heart for all his friends and loved ones.
Funeral services were 11 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Kilgore-Green Chapel in Jasper with Neil Myers officiating. Interment was a Mackey Boshell Cemetery in Jasper.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Coma and Lillie Mae Knight of Thomasville.
He is survived by his daughter, Isabelle Knight, age 3; parents, Paul and Teri Knight; three brothers, Matthew Knight, Cameron Knight and Andrew Knight; grandparents, Clifford and Joyce Windham and multiple aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.
Pallbearers were his uncles, Robert “Bobby” Hamilton, Ted Knight, Buford Knight, Ricky Knight, Bryan Windham and Mark Windham.
Honorary Pallbearers were Jeffery Williams, Greg Williams, Bart Williams, Gregory Mark Williams, William Phillips, Andy Bagley, Denny Winn, Paul Don Winn, Floyd Bailey, Frank McGinnis, John Hogan and Sally Warren.
The family request donation be made to a charity of choice in Eric’s name.
