Hazel Jean Steadham, 73, a cosmetologist of Thomasville died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011, at her daughter’s home. She was born December 28, 1937 in Liberty. She was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church.

Funeral services were 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011 at Liberty Baptist Church in Thomasville with Rev. Bill Faircloth and Rev. Johnny Kendrick officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her two daughters, Merita (Warren) Harrell of Thomasville and Sandy (Danny) Bedwell of Fulton; four sons, Ricky (Martha Jo) Steadham and Harvey (Tammy) Steadham both of Thomasville, Derry (Hope) Steadham of Grove Hill and Nick (Emily) Steadham of Grove Hill; mother, Eunice M. Drinkard of Thomasville; two brothers, Richard “Tiny” (Marlene) Drinkard and Jerry (Brenda Jo) Drinkard both of Thomasville; 14 grandchildren, Candis Harrell Busby, Aaron Harrell, Jesse Harrell, Brandon Steadham, Amanda Jo Steadham, Dannon Bedwell, Daniel Bedwell, Danielle Bedwell, Galen Steadham, Hagen Steadham, Kerri Steadham, Kalli Steadham, Dustin Steadham and Alex Steadham; two great-grandchilden, Ally Busby and Ty Busby.

Pallbearers were Aaron Harrell, Jesse Harrell, Dannon Bedwell, Daniel Bedwell, Galen Steadham, Dustin Steadham, Brandon Steadham and Bucky Busby.

Honorary pallbearers were members of the Liberty Baptist Church Adult 3 Sunday School Class.
