Geraldine Twilley Morgan, 74, of Thomasville died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, at her home. She was born March 13, 1927 in Moore’s Valley. She was a retired postmaster and a member of the Thomasville Baptist Church.

Funeral services were 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011 at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Ty Parten officiating. Interment was at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery in Arlington.

She was preceded in death by her father, Alonzo William Twilley; mother, Gracie Mae Patrick Twilley; three brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her husband, N. Terry Morgan of Thomasville; two sons, Melvin Edward Morgan of Clinton, Ark. and James Taylor Morgan of Spanish Fort; two daughters, Sandra Morgan Moody of Guntersville and Angela Morgan Wenyon of Newark, DE; two brothers, Melvin Twilley of Greensboro, NC and Richard Twilley of Mobile; two sisters, Peggy Davis of Lompoc, Calif. and Betty Lou Williams of Theodore; ten grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Ben Moody, Nathan Morgan, Sloane Morgan, Austin Morgan, Alec Morgan and Logan Morgan.

Honorary pallbearers were members of the Seekers Sunday School Class of Thomasville Baptist Church.
