Deborah Ann Roberts Segler, 56, a retired waitress, formerly of Thomasville and resident of Guntersville, died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011, at her residence. She was born Sept. 29, 1955 in Clarke County.
She was a member of Baker’s Chapel in Guntersville. She worked at The Delmar and Harco/Rite Aid in Thomasville for many years.
Funeral services were Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011 at Baker’s Chapel Baptist Church with Terry Sharp officiating. Interment followed in Roden Cemetery in Guntersville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elvin and Ann Pearson Roberts and brother, Randall Wynn Roberts.
She is survived by her husband, Phillip Earl Segler of Guntersville; daughter, Jennifer Ann Wilson (Shane) Newton of Foley; sisters, Denna (Joey) Agee of Thomasville, Donna (Jim) Jackson of Jackson and Suzy Tinsley of Demopolis; brother, Buddy (Joanna) Roberts of Thomasville; grandchildren, Mitchell (Margaret) Overstreet and Matthew Overstreet, both of Thomasville; many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Eddie Cornelius, Gray Martin, Cliff Bailey, Matthew Bailey, Jamie Segler and Michael Harvell.
Honorary pallbearers were Matthew Overstreet and Mitchell Overstreet.
Guntersville Memorial Chapel directed.
