Earnest Clinton Anderson, 82, of Thomasville died Friday, Dec. 30, 2011, at Mobile Infirmary. He was born Feb. 3, 1929 in Myrtlewood. He was a former heavy equipment operator for Marengo County and a member of the Sweet Water Baptist Church.
Funeral services were Monday, Jan. 2, 2012 at Sweet Water Baptist Church with Revs. Billy Harris and Douglas Turner officiating. Interment was at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Nanafalia.
He is survived by his wife, Winnie Ola Martin Anderson of Sweet Water; three sons, Keith (Jan) Anderson of Nanafalia, Malcolm Anderson and Calvin (Cindi) Anderson, both of Sweet Water; three sisters, Edwenia Stephens of Montgomery, Edna Earl Barr of Pace, Fla. and Laura Ann Callaway of Milton, Fla.; brother, Kenneth Anderson of Rice, Texas; eight grandchildren, Kala Lynn, Jesseca Anderson, Brian Anderson, Brett Anderson, Dillon Anderson, Dallas Anderson, Robert Anderson and Cody Anderson; great-grandchild, Adesyn Lynn.
Pallbearers were Brian Anderson, Brett Anderson, Dillion Anderson, Dallas Anderson, Robert Anderson and Cody Anderson.
Honorary pallbearers were Morgan Flowers, Junior Vick, Jimmy Young and Henry Milstead.
