Robert James “Killer Joe” Gates, 45, of Lower Peachtree died Monday, Apr. 2, 2012 at U.S.A. Hospital in Mobile. He was born Mar. 1, 1967.

Funeral services were Saturday, Apr. 7, at Mt. Sinai A.M.E. Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

He is survived by two children, Jasmine Brown and DeAndre Brown, both of Macon, Ga. and four stepchildren.
