Douglas Roy Baskin, 77, of Thomasville died Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at his home. He was born Oct. 16, 1934 in Minneapolis, Minn. He was a retired service station owner and was an active Jehovah’s Witness for the last 54 years.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 21, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with Wayne Faust officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Martha Baskin of Thomasville; three sons, Brian (Amy) Baskin of Jackson, Miss., Andre’ (Lori) Baskin of Mobile and Gabriel (Rachel) Baskin of New Albany, Miss.; daughter, Kimberly (Wayne) Faust of Thomasville; sister, Karen (Bill) Jessen of San Marcos, Calif.; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
