Maxine Johnson Bradford, 78, a native of Nanafalia and a resident of Thomasville, died July 24, 2012 at Willow Trace Nursing Home in Butler. A retired timber manager, she was a member of Thomasville Baptist Church, West Alabama Medical Center Auxiliary, Retired Senior Volunteer Program, the Red Hat Society and the Christian Fellowship Organization.
Survivors include two sons, Phil (Margaret) Bradford of Meridian, Miss and Paul (Karen) Bradford of Thomasville; eight grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren.
Her husband, Millard Bradford and an infant son preceded her in death.
The funeral was July 27 in the O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Mitch Thrower and Dr. Marcus Finch officiating. Burial was at Salem Baptist Church cemetery in Scyrene.
Pallbearers were Clint Bradford, Will Ashcraft, Matt Ashcraft, Clay Bradford, Seth Bradford and Billy “Red” Watts.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Seekers Sunday School Class at Thomasville Baptist Church.
