William Edward “Bill” Kimbrough, IV, 62, of Tuscaloosa and formerly a longtime resident of Thomasville, died Aug. 25, 2012 at Hospice of West Alabama. A native of Birmingham, he was a retired judge and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Tuscaloosa.
He is survived by his wife, Lynne Kimbrough of Tuscaloosa; son Will Kimbrough of Tuscaloosa; two brothers, James Kimbrough of Satsuma and Robert Kimbrough of Creola; two sisters, Beth Rodgers of Saraland and Martha Kimbrough of Chunchula.
A daughter, Mellie Kimbrough, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were Aug. 27 at Thomasville Baptist Church with Dr. Gary Enfinger officiating. Burial followed at Choctaw Corner Cemetery with O’Bryant Funeral Home directing.
Active pallbearers were George Overstreet, Harold Crow, James Lee, Tim Smith, Brian Clark and Wendell McCrary. Honorary pallbearers were attorneys, judges and the TeTas of Tuscaloosa.
