Thomas Albert Moseley Jr., 83, died Sept. 6, 2012 at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital in Demopolis. He was a retired cattle farmer of Dayton. A native of Selma, he was a member of the Thomaston Baptist Church and attended Thomaston United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Claudia Crain Moseley of Dayton; two sons, Leonard (Marsha) Moseley and Al (Sheila) Moseley; two daughters, Warene (Pete) Hall and Nancy (Bobby) Cobb, all of Thomaston; sister-in-law, Virginia Moseley of Tuscaloosa; eight grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren.

His daughter, Melissa Moseley and brother, Edward Moseley, preceded him in death.

The funeral was Sept. 8 at Thomaston United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dunford Cole officiating. Burial was in the Thomaston Cemetery with O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home directing.

Active pallbearers were Ryan Wilkinson, Thomas Clark, Warren Moseley, Rod Fray, David Wise, Trey Allen, Steven Griffies, Marc Sanford, Tait Sanford and Bobby Cobb.

Memorials may be made to the Thomaston United Methodist Church or to the donor’s favorite charity.
