Alfredia G. Collins, 61, of Pine Hill died Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 in Thomasville. Collins was born May 28, 1951 in Selma. She was the owner of Collins and Collins Insurance in Thomasville. She was a member of the Pine Hill Baptist Church and attended Yellow Bluff Baptist Church and the Pine Hill Chapel of the Apostolic Faith.
She is survived by her husband, Billy H. Collins of Pine Hill; three sons, Brad Collins of Montgomery, Brent Collins of Camden and Baxter Collins of Pine Hill; father, Rip Godbold of Camden; mother, Viola Roberts of Selma; two brothers, Pat Godbold and Robert Godbold, both of Arlington; sister, Carolyn King of Ider and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were Friday, Sept. 14 at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville with Rev. Gary Burton, Mark King, Colonel USMC Retired and Rev. Mike Brening officiating. Interment followed at Reeves Chapel Cemetery with O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Active pallbearers were Gary Jackson, Austin Collins, Frankie Godbold, James Smith, Ricky Stoudenmier, John Rodgers Autrey, Jeff Hamilton and Jamie Averitt. Honary pallbearers were Jordan Collins, Chad Smith, Rusty Godbold, Chris Godbold, Griffin McGalliard, Josh King, Caleb King, Curtis Williamson, Theron Bradford and Reid Smith.
