Inez Bagley Andrews, 84, of Thomasville, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012 at Thomasville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Aug. 24, 1928 in Thomasville and was a former manager at Bedsole’s Shoe Department. She was a member of the Thomasville United Methodist Church, where she was a former secretary and Sunday School teacher.
She is survived by her son, Jimmy Ray (Debra) Andrews of Thomasville; daughter, Carolyn Andrews (Alton) Drinkard of Thomasville; brother, Fletcher Bagley of Auburndale, Fla.; sister, Agnes Jackson of Mobile; four grandchildren, Jeff (Melanie) Drinkard, Jarod (Tanya) Andrews, Lucas (Cotrena) Andrews and Abbie Andrews (Chris) Lacey; and eight great grandchildren, Cole Andrews, Megan Andrews, James Andrews, Travis Andrews, Deanna Lacey, Drew Lacey, Mary Madeline Drinkard and Evans Drinkard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maynard Ray Andrews.
Funeral services were Friday, Oct. 19, at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Jarod Andrews and Rev. George Sedberry officiating. Interment followed at Kelley Cemetery in Thomasville with O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Active pallbearers were Jeff Drinkard, Lucas Andrews, Chris Lacey, Glenn Hobgood, Rice Hobgood and Gerald Jackson. Honorary pallbearers were Cole Andrews, James Andrews, Travis Andrews, Drew Lacey, Evans Drinkard, Marion Bartlett, Andy Bagley, Wendell Sheffield, Russell Andrews, Boyce Kelley, Randall Fendley and the staff of Thomasville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
