Johnny Clyde Buckalew, 76 of Thomasville, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012 at Thomasville Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. He was born April 16, 1936 in Thomasville and was a former mechanic at MacMillian Bloedel Inc.

He is survived by four sisters, Bobbie Jo (Henry) Loper and Judy (Bob) Hope, both of Thomasville, Annell (Zadock) Mitchell of Grove Hill and Patsy (Lonnie) Guy of Jackson; aunt, Evelyn H. Crocker of Mobile; two cousins, Jimmie (Shirley) Stephens and Suzanne (Ronnie) Smith, both of Thomasville; and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Nellie Mae Hamilton Buckalew; brother, Claude Buckalew, Jr.; sister, Dinah Hamilton; uncle and aunt, Nathan and Ruby Clyde Stephens.
