Thomas Edward Autery, 91, of Pine Hill, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at Grove Hill Memorial Hospital. He was born June 3, 1921 in Sunny South. Autery was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church and served in the U. S. Army during World War II.

He is survived by three sons, Lonnie George (Nancy) Autery of Valley Grande, John R. (Teresa) Autery of Pine Hill and Oral Dennis (Ginger) Autery of Antioch, Tenn.; daughter, Sayron Autery (Charles) Fowler of Crestview, Fla.; brother, Willie Rogers Autery of Pine Hill; sister, Marguerite Autery Mendenhall of Magnolia; 16 grandchildren, 25 greatgrandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Molly Morgan Autery.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Jan. 8 at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Martindale and Rev. James Morgan officiating. Interment followed at Kelly Cemetery in Pine Hill with O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home directing.

Active pallbearers were Wyatt Autery, Robbie Autery, Robert Lewis Williamson, Toby Fowler, Chad Autery and Billy Averitt.

Memorials may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
