Andrews

Rev. Everett Andrews, 86, of Grove Hill died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013 at Grove Hill Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. 16, 1926 in Grove Hill and was a retired minister and hardware sales person. Andrews was also a member of the Bassett Creek Baptist Church and a World War II U. S. Army Veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Lois Baugh Andrews of Grove Hill; two sons, Everett Ronald (Anne) Andrews of Myrtle Beach, S. C. and John Phillip (Donna) Andrews of Grove Hill; two daughters, Cathy Jean Andrews (Leo) Dailey of Prattville and Jane Marie Andrews (Gary) Sellers of Grove Hill; seven grandchildren; 10 greatgrandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Friday, Jan. 11 at Bassett Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Percy Clarke, Rev. Adam Pate and Robert E. Baugh officiating. Interment was at the church cemetery in Grove Hill with O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home directing.

Active pallbearers were Ricky Andrews, Jimmy Andrews, Boyce Kelley, Brad Brooks, Wesley Brooks and Loren Farris. Honorary pallbearers were Amos Johnson, Julius Johnson, Gerald Corgill, Ray Walker, Eason Andrews, Crafton Monk, Giles Chapman, Rex Rush, E. P. Walker, Mark Cumbie, Calvin McDonald, Shelton Jackson, Johnny Bagley and Russell Andrews.
