Quindra Denese Williams Law, 49, of Jackson died Sunday, Jan. 21 at Jackson Medical Center. She was born Dec. 28, 1963 to the parents of Isaac Othello Williams and the late Ottie Mae Baldwin Williams.
She was a faithful member of Bethlehem Baptist Church of Winn, where she sang in the choir since childhood. She served as president of the choir, secretary/ treasurer of the Faith Building Fund, held several offices in the youth department and was secretary of the missionary society.
She received her Associate in Science Degree in Office/Business Administration from Hobson State Community College (currently Alabama Southern Community College). She was employed as the assistant manager at Regions Bank in Robertsdale.
She is survived by her husband, Jarvis Law of Jackson; two sons, Jalen and Quentin Law, both of Jackson; father, Isaac Othello Williams of Jackson; two sisters, Berneta (Marcus) Stallworth of Jackson and Patrice Williams of Crestview, Fla.; brother, Othello Sherall Williams of Jackson; mother-in-law, Minnie Lee Johnson of Fairford and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Clinton and Andrea Baldwin; paternal grandparents, Isaac and Genoa Williams and father-in-law, Willie D. Johnson.
Viewing will be Saturday, Jan. 26, 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service at Berry’s Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church in Winn with Rev. Edward Seabron and Rev. Donald Sterling, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Church Cemetery in Winn with Andrews Funeral Home in Jackson directing.
