Charles Van Daniels, 51, of Nanafalia died Friday, May 17, 2013 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center. He was born Jan. 21, 1962 in Camden and was a pipe fitter with Burkes Mechanical Company. He was also a member of the Nanafalia Baptist Church and the Farm Agriculture.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Holloway Daniels of Nanafalia; two sons, Sawyer Van Daniels and Logan Charles Daniels, both of Nanafalia; mother, Shirley Daniels of Nanafalia; two brothers, Craig (Collen) Daniels of Thomasville and Danny Daniels of Nanafalia; two sisters, Lisa Diamond of Meridian, Miss. and Debbie (Rick) Nichols of Tuscaloosa; mother-in-law, Mildred Holloway of Selma and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ellis Daniels and niece, Mandy Daniels.

Funeral services were Tuesday, May 21 at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Gavin officiating. Interment followed at the Aimwell Baptist Church Cemetery in Sweet Water with O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville directing.

Active pallbearers were Brian Martin, Joey Mathers, Jimmy Daniels, Calvin Anderson, Ray Smith, Velpo Waldrope, Marcus Walters and Buddy Roberts. Honorary pallbearers were Joey Tourne and members of the Farm Agriculture.
