Kossuth Archie Green, Sr., 76, of Pine Hill died Friday, May 31, 2013 at Providence Hospital. He was born Feb. 2, 1937 in Packers Bend. He was a construction contractor and attended the Pine Hill Chapel of the Apostolic Faith.

He is survived by four daughters, Glenna Overton of Millbrook, Dawn Angela Green of Whatley, Marie (Gene) Armistead of Saraland and Missy (Michael) Fendley of Thomasville; four sons, Anthony Kossuth Green of Atmore, Joseph Michael Green and Koss (LaMargaret) Green, Jr., both of Pine Hill and Jonathan Clark (Virgie) Green of Dayton, Texas; brother, John Robert Green of Pine Hill; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday, June 4 at Pine Hill Chapel of the Apostolic Faith with Rev. Mike Brening officiating. Interment followed in the Pine Hill Cemetery with O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville directing.

Active pallbearers were Roy Green, Jr., Adam Green, Bruce Green, Roger Green, Joe Hicks, Jr. and Allen Morgan. Honorary pallbearers were Joe Hicks, Sr., Randell Robinson, Wyman O. Gilmore, Jr., Roy Beall, Doug Jackson, Roy Megginson, Jr. and John Lowery.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to The Pine Hill Chapel of the Apostolic Faith.
