Johnny Frank Corgill, 80, died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013. He was a native of Clay Hill and a longtime resident of Satsuma. Corgill retired from Courtaulds as an area manager after 33 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist North Mobile who loved the outdoors, hunting (especially turkey), fishing and spending time in his yard.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Mary Ann Thompson Corgill; children, Beverly Corgill (Terry) Robinson, Jimmy (Anita) Corgill, Lonna Hall (Gene) Threadgill, Melanie (Charles) Corgill-Cox, Rosanne Corgill, Carl Dale (Karen) Hall and Robin Corgill; sister, Barbara Corgill; brother, Gerald (Ann) Corgill; 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Reid Corgill; parents, James Paul Corgill and Ruby Alabama Fontaine Corgill; brother, James Edward Corgill and sister, Ruby Annette Moore.
Funeral services were Friday, Aug. 9 in the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Interment followed in Forest Law Memorial Gardens in Saraland with Radney Funeral Home in Saraland directing.
His grandsons served as pallbearers.
