James Clyde Gaddy, 78, of Thomasville died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013 at Mobile Infirmary. He was born March 15, 1935 in Thomasville. He was a retired paper mill maintanence worker and a member of Thomasville Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Joy W. Gaddy of Thomasville; three sons, Kenneth (Scarlett) Gaddy of Tuscaloosa, Bruce (Janet) Gaddy of Augusta, Ga. and Jamey (Stefanie) Gaddy of Cartersville, Ga.; daughter, Jeannean (Tommy) Gray of Hartselle; two brothers, Leon Gaddy of New Albany, Ind. and Wayne Gaddy of Birmingham; three sisters, Carol Goodwin of Millbrook, Brenda Reynolds of Mobile and Lynn Bowden of Saraland, and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman Clyde Gaddy and Velma Hurtt Gaddy and brother, Charles Gaddy.
Memorial services were Sunday, Nov. 24 at Thomasville Baptist Church with Rev. Ty Parten and Dr. James Best officiating and O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville directing.
