Thelma G. Morgan, 84, a homemaker of Pine Hill died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013 at her home. She was born Dec. 7, 1929 in Pine Hill and was a member of the New Providence Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, David T. Morgan of Pine Hill; three sons, Alvin Hollis (Betty) Morgan of Coy, Henry Earl (Kaye) Morgan of Thomasville and Kenneth Eugene (Melinda) Morgan of Arlington; three daughters, Thelma Elaine (Dennis) Hathcock of Pine Hill, Linda Lee (John) Medley of Montgomery and Mary Ruth (Barry) Reed of Thomasville; three stepsons, Alan D. (Carolyn) Morgan of Linden, Edwin T. Morgan of Coy and William D. (Edna) Morgan of Pine Hill; two stepdaughters, Mary M. (Keith) Champion of Coy and Miriam M. (Johnny) Allen of Bay Minette; two brothers, Rip Godbold of Camden and Willie Godbold of Clio; sister Lillie McKinley of Camden; 14 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Dec. 17 at New Providence Baptist Church with Rev. James Morgan and Rev. Tommy Primm officiating. Interment followed at the Coy Cemetery with O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville directing.
Active pallbearers were Robbie Medley, David Morgan, Buddy Morgan, Joshua Morgan, Joseph Hathcock and Morgan Primm. Alternate pallbearer was Brady Medley. Honorary pallbearers were the great grandsons and stepgrands.
