Zula Mae Myrick, 73, of Thomasville died Monday, Jan. 20, 2014 at Thomasville Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Jan. 24, 1940 in Forrest, Miss. She was a retired licensed practical nurse and a member of the Thomaston Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, James (Tracy) Myrick of Thomaston; family friend, Deborah Stokes Myrick of Thomaston; four grandchildren, Brent Myrick, Gabe Myrick, Blake McGilberry and Heather Myrick.

Funeral services were Wednesday, Jan. 22 at Buck Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Randall Mims officiating. Interment followed at Buck Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Red Level with O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville directing.

Active pallbearers were Tommy Myrick, Mike Kelly, Todd Carr, Bobby Pollock, Sandy King and Gary King. Alternate pallbearer was Ken Clayton.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Thomasville Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, 1425 Moseley Drive, Thomasville, AL 36784
