William Christopher Hare, 57, of Thomasville died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014 at Mobile Infirmary. He was born April 25, 1956 in Grove Hill. He was a railroad conductor for B.N.S.F. Railroad and was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Kay Hare of Thomasville; daughter, Angela Hare (Patrick) Givens of Tuscaloosa; two sons, William C. Hare, Jr., of Atlanta, Texas and Brad (Amanda) Hare of Thomasville; mother, Lullene Hare LaFlore of Thomasville; two brothers, Craig (Shann) Hare of Thomasville and Greg (Cindy) Hare of Thomasville; four grandchildren, Drake Hare and Kadence Hare of Thomasville and Hudson Givens and Jackson Givens of Tuscaloosa.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Arnold Hare.
Funeral services were Monday, Feb. 10 at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Faircloth officiating. Interment followed at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Thomasville with O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville directing.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Amercian Cancer Society.
Active pallbearers were Wil Patrick Givens, Ty Hare, Galen Steadham, Joey Hare, Ladell Ott, John Woods, Travis Parker and Frank Gates. Honorary pallbearers were John Sealey, G. A. Sealey, Jeremy Britt, Dylan Sealey, Dakota Sealey, Josh Sealey, Jody Powell, Pedro Scurlock, Greg Lovette, Ronald Martin, Donny Givens, Ricky Steadham, Bruce Phillips, Ralph Smyly, Mike Bradley, Allen Smith and friends with B. N. S. F. Railroad.
