Fletcher

Delmer D. Fletcher, 90, of Pine Hill died Sunday, May 25, 2014 in Silas. He was a retired welder for Macmillan Bloedel Papermill.

He is survived by his son, Johnny (Diane) Fletcher of Silas; two grandchildren, Scott (Cynthia) Fletcher of Pine Hill and Angela Christian of Kingsport, Tenn.; five great-grandchildren, Tim Fletcher, Ashley Fletcher, Clayton Christian, Chelley Allen and Drew Christian; great-greatgrandchild, Elizabeth Christian “Elli” Way; brother, Bobby Fletcher of Texas; sisters, Maxine Pendergrass of Birmingham and Tommie Sue Bishop of Saraland.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Minnie Fletcher; wife, Irene Fletcher and ten brothers and sisters.

Graveside services were May 28 at Pine Hill Cemetery with Bro. Adam Andrews officiating and Bumpers Funeral Home of Butler directing.

Pallbearers were Clayton Christian, William Fletcher, Zack Allen, David Edward, Joe Hicks Jr. and David Wright.
