Thomas Earl Smith, 32, of Thomasville, died July 28, 2017 at USA Medical Center. He was born June 4, 1985 in Thomasville. He was an electrician at Thomasville Lumber Company.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Marie Smith of Thomasville; four children,

Joshua Smith and Lucas Smith of Monroeville and Krimson and Anthony Smith of Thomasville; father, Jimmy (Sharon) Smith of Phenix City; mother, Valerie (John) Ward of Monroeville; sister, Kathleen Emmons of Monroeville; brother, Trey Emmons of Monroeville; grandparents, Ray and Evelyn Smith of Sweet Water; and Rex and Pat Rush of Thomasville.

Funeral services were Aug. 5 at Hoboken Baptist Church with the Rev. William Hales officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery in Sweet Water with O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home directing.

Active pallbearers were Trey Emmons, Phillip Bagley, Brad Vice, Steven Champion, Shawn Jordan, Joey Bailey, Joseph Kane and Chris Lee.

Honorary pallbearers were The Employees of Thomasville Lumber, Randall Lynn, Nathaniel Strange, Jonathon Champion, Chris Nichols and Daniel Kumpula.
