Lottie Mae Hare, 96, a homemaker of Dickinson, died March 4, 2018 at Jackson Medical Center. She was born Dec. 20, 1921 in Greenwood to James Robert and Carrie Sue Andrews. She was a lifelong member of Bassett Creek Baptist Church in Grove Hill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Cecil Hare, five brothers, Homer T. (Elizabeth) Andrews, Coley L. (Ruby) Andrews, J. C. (Bardie) Andrews, Robbie Dee (Annie Bell) Andrews and Eason A. Andrews; two sisters, Lucille (Jessie) Hudson and Opal (John) Myrick.

Survivors include her daughter, Carrah H. (Ernest Jr.) McCorquodale and two grandsons, Ernest C. McCorquodale III and William "Bill" F. McCorquodale II.

Funeral services will be at Bassett Creek Baptist Church today, Thursday, March 8, at 11 a. m., with the Rev. Percy Clarke, the Rev. Bill Allison and the Rev. Henry "Digger" Creel officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Paul Jackson, Tony Cook, Troy Cook, Hugh Freeman, Matthew Chancey and Rhett Chancey.
