William Floyd “Tripp” Carter III, 24, of Grove Hill died July 24, 2018. Tripp was born May 24, 1994 in Jackson to William “Bo” and Ann Carter, Jr. He was a member of Thomasville Church of God. An avid gamer, he was one of the most genuine people you would ever meet and had a smile that lit up the room. He had always loved children, especially his nieces, but nothing could compare to the love he had for his son, Liam, who was the center of his universe. Tripp loved with his whole heart and will be loved and missed more than words can express.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, William Floyd Carter Sr.

He is survived by his parents; son, Liam Carter; sister, Courtney (Chris) Weaver; brother, Hunter Carter; nieces, Chloe Weaver and Kinley Weaver; grandparents, Earl G. and Mary Mills, Sr and Brother Al and Jeraline Dykeman; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Services were Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson.

Interment followed in River Hill Cemetery in Salitpa.
