Baseball Clinic



The pros came to town Saturday for the annual Winter Baseball Clinic put on by the Thomasville Diamond Club. Youths from around the area got tips and technique help from professional players, scouts and college coaches and players to help them improve their game.

Folks from Thomasville joined others from Clarke County and the rest of the state in Pasadena for the citi BCS National Championship game. Our folks cheered on the Crimson Tide in its 37-21 victory over the Texas Longhorns securing another national championship.

Scouts distribute water



During the recent water crisis in Thomasville, Junior Girl Scout Troops 8557 volunteered to help distribute water at the Thomasville Civic Center.
