Eight hours spent recounting 13,637 ballots Monday reaffirmed Clarke County Probate Judge Valerie Bradford Davis’ win in the Nov. 6 General Election although the totals did change slightly. Davis, the Republican appointed incumbent, polled 6,839 votes, or 50.14 percent, to Democrat Paul Bradford’s 6,798, or 49.84 percent.
